Back Forty Real Estate is a licensed Idaho brokerage based in Kootenai County. The name comes from the ranch term “back forty” — the far field, the parcel that doesn't get the attention but holds the value. It captures what we care about: the parts of North Idaho real estate that take real local knowledge to do right.
What sets us apart: we close cash deals in our own name. We're not a wholesaler reselling the contract to an out-of-state investor, and we're not a referral middleman. When you sell to Back 40, you sell to Back 40.
Areas we cover: Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Post Falls, Rathdrum, Sandpoint, Athol, Spirit Lake, Bayview, and the rural land between. Kootenai and Bonner counties are home; we look at adjacent counties case-by-case.
